How You Can Give Back This Holiday Season
What a year it has been! As we enter the final stretch of holiday season, and the closing days of 2022, ViralGains has been reflecting internally as a company on how we can give back this holiday season. At the end of the day, ViralGains is more than just a company. We are a tight-knit community dedicated to working together to make an impact and ignite change.
Working within the advertising industry, we know the importance of utilizing digital media as a force for good, an agent to raise awareness, and an online ecosystem where people from all walks of life can learn from one another. With that said, we’re dedicating our final post of the year to highlight organizations VGers are supporting and hold near and dear to their hearts.
Integrate Health
Integrate Health is a non-profit organization with a mighty mission: to make quality primary healthcare accessible for all. Founded in 2004 by Peace Corps Volunteers, Integrate Health works alongside governments and local communities to expand access to high-quality healthcare to all individuals in Togo, West Africa.
Iranian American Women Foundation (IAWF)
Since 2011, The Iranian American Women Foundation has provided a platform for empowerment, networking, and mentorship among Iranian American women both locally and globally. Since its inception, the organization has empowered, inspired and connected thousands of women nationwide and globally. It has served as a home away from home; a community that celebrates creative, innovative, tenacious, and competitive women who are problem solvers and a force for the greater good.
Little Wishes
Little Wishes is a 510(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by two pediatric oncology/PICU nurses in 2003. Little Wishes grants the immediate and ongoing “little” wishes of hospitalized chronically and critically ill children, easing their discomfort and bringing them moments of bliss. Your donation goes to: Wishes, Milestones (Birthdays, Graduations, End of treatments, Holidays), and End-of-life memory making.
Oceanic Global
Oceanic Global is an organization that empowers people to care deeply for the ocean, and find solutions to protect it. Oceanic Global creates educational experiences, consults on sustainable operations, and engages local communities to generate measurable impact for our collective well-being. 100% of donations directly support Oceanic Global’s work to restore our ocean’s health, and inspire individuals, communities, and industries to create positive change.
San Francisco-Marin Food Bank
San Francisco-Marin Food Bank is a non-profit organization that strives to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin. Their efforts focus on the immediate distribution of food, while working on long-term strategies to address hunger and empower neighbors in need.
The Heroic Tail
Based in San Diego, CA, The Heroic Tail is a small veteran-run dog rescue that strives to rewrite the rescue narrative. The Heroic Tail’s model focuses on rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters and helping dogs deemed “unadoptable” have a better chance at a happy and healthy life via training programs with top dog trainers in San Diego. Through this framework, The Heroic Tail aspires to set more dogs and adopters up for long-term success and their results speak for themselves. They have never had a dog returned due to behavior, or inability to care.
The Surfrider Foundation
As a company, ViralGains has been involved with The Surfrider Foundation for quite some time! The Surfrider Foundation is made up of a community of powerful activists dedicated to protecting and conserving the ocean, waves, and beaches that provide us humans with so much enjoyment. For every $1 donated, 84 cents directly funds The Surfrider Foundation’s programs and campaigns, 13 cents is invested to generate future donations, and 3 cents is devoted to their administrative operating costs.
The Wonderfund
This holiday season ViralGains is again partnering with the Massachusetts local non-profit, The Wonderfund, to provide holiday gifts to children involved with the Department of Children and Families. The Wonderfund is a private nonprofit organization that strives to help every child involved with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families experience hope, comfort, and joy. They provide support to 53,000 children in traumatic situations, and enrich childhoods that have been impacted by abuse and neglect.
The Wonderfund services include providing emergency aid, enrichment opportunities, everyday essentials such as toiletries and school supplies, access to cultural experiences across the commonwealth, holiday gifts, and more!
