In the U.S. alone, ad fraud costs the digital advertising industry $31 billion each year. Given the scale of the threat and potential consequences for brands, ViralGains proactively manages the issue by maintaining a quality supply chain and seeking out partnerships with organizations who work to solve problems around privacy, malware, piracy, and transparency.
Today, we are pleased to announce another key partnership. We’ve been validated by Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG), an advertising initiative that fights fraudulent activity in the digital advertising supply chain. Harini Kodey will be our Chief Compliance Officer and oversee our quarterly reviews to ensure we continue to stay up to date with TAG standards.
“ViralGains is 100% focused on helping clients create authentic connections with consumers using video advertising” said Glenn Kiladis, VP of Product and Strategy for ViralGains. “You can’t have authenticity without transparency. This partnership demonstrates our ongoing commitment to transparency and how we’re working to ensure our ads run in brand safe environments.”
To obtain TAG verification, companies must adhere to a rigorous set of guidelines, then pass a background check and review powered by Dun & Bradstreet, with additional approval from TAG. Getting verified requires a significant amount of effort, so we applaud our fellow TAG verified companies who have also gone through the process and made transparency a priority. Along with our peers, we’ll continue to seek out ways to preserve a fraud-free platform and advance the ad tech ecosystem by collaborating with organizations like TAG.
