Stories that Move: Google Glass Video Proves that “Paralysis Doesn’t Have to Be Paralyzing”

Meet Alex Blaszczuk.

She’s one of a select few given the title of “Google Glass Explorer,” and she’s one of another small population: a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the chest down after a car accident in 2011. However, through her own “Explorer Story,” a branded video project from Google that nabbed a 2014 Webby Award nominee, we learn that she is so much more:

“I am a New Yorker, a law student, a quadriplegic. If I had glass, I could finally capture my life on my own. I would show the world how to thrive with physical limitations in the most interesting city on the planet. With Glass, paralysis doesn’t have to be paralyzing.”
