ViralGains Names Tod Loofbourrow to Board of Directors and Sarah Fay to Board of Advisors

BOSTON, Jan. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Today, ViralGains announced that Tod Loofbourrow, a serial entrepreneur with more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in the high-technology sector, will join the company’s Board of Directors. Entrepreneur in Residence at MIT’s Center for Digital Business, Loofbourrow drives high-growth business creation utilizing technologies spun out of MIT. Loofbourrow recently served as President and Cofounder of iRobot Healthcare (NASD: IRBT), and as Chairman, CEO and Founder of Peoplefluent (formerly Authoria), now a $100 million+ leader in software-as-a-service for recruiting, managing, and motivating high-performance workforces.  He also ran strategic consulting firm Foundation Technologies and served as the firm’s Managing Partner and CEO. Loofbourrow advises numerous startups and serves on the board of directors of Mobee and Jobs for the Future. Loofbourrow will serve on ViralGains’ Board effective immediately and will provide ongoing counsel as ViralGains continues to grow and scale its viral marketing platform.

Additionally, ViralGains announced that Sarah Fay, a veteran of the media services industry with more than two decades of experience, will join the company’s Board of Advisors. An industry leader on the topics of digital marketing and media integration, Fay previously served as the CEO of Aegis Media North America working with major brand advertisers including P&G, EA, Pfizer, Philips, Wachovia, RadioShack, Marriott and adidas/Reebok. She has since joined the boards of some prominent independent companies in the advertising technology space, such as Celtra, NeoMedia, inPowered, SocialFlow, and Women’s Marketing Inc. She chairs the Board of Governors for dmg::events, which owns and operates ad:tech, iMedia Summits, CMO Summits, and The Digital Collective. Fay also participates as a board advisor to several advertising technology start-ups. Fay will serve on ViralGains’ Board effective immediately and will use her advanced knowledge and experience in digital media to provide ViralGains with ongoing counsel.
